    I took the SDHC from the expansion slot to copy files from a friend's Windows OS PC but now Linux (Ubuntu 9.04) programs see it but doesn't allow access (rw).
    # df shows:
    Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
    /dev/sda1 7368560 3451048 3543200 50% /
    udev 248748 232 248516 1% /dev
    none 248748 436 248312 1% /dev/shm
    none 248748 80 248668 1% /var/run
    none 248748 0 248748 0% /var/lock
    none 248748 0 248748 0% /lib/init/rw
    /dev/mmcblk0p1 15814656 15037664 776992 96% /media/l

    # fdisk -l shows:
    Disk /dev/mmcblk0: 16.2 GB, 16202596352 bytes
    255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 1969 cylinders
    Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
    Disk identifier: 0x00000000

    Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
    /dev/mmcblk0p1 1 1970 15818752 c W95 FAT32 (LBA)

    How can I change the System from W95 FAT32 (LBA) back to Linux?

    June26 - What may be the problem is that the name of the SDHC has changed after using in a Windows PC and the new name has what appears to be an image two binary blocks. Could it be that Windows renamed the SDHC because it couldn't handle the long name it originally had?
