I just want to play some mp3s.

I removed Totem Movie player and tried to install VLC at someone else's suggestion and can't figure out how the hell to install VLC. I tried reinstalling Movie player from "Add/Remove Software". It's there, but needs plugins to play mp3s and I haven't been able to figure out what/how to get what it wants.

With Ubunbtu on my desktop computer it was very easy, but I'm lost with Linpus. I'd be using Ubunutu on the AA1 believe me, but I spent too many days trying to get the wifi to work, so I'm back to Linpus...

    You're welcome :)

If you ever want to do some sound editing I recommend audacity.
    Easily installed with
    Code:
    sudo yum install audacity-nonfree
The non-free part can be left out, but then you get a version that does not support copyrighted formats like e.g. mp3...

Don't know if I'll ever do sound editing on the Aspire, I use Samplitude professional on my studio computer for that, that's what I do for a "living" :)
