    Hi Everyone,

For those who have tried to install 9.04NR in Ext2 and/or Ext4: Which is better?? I'm currently using Ext4, the performance is quite comparable to Linpus lite (Acer OEM) except for the same issues encountered in Mandriva, e.g. wifi LED. The only reason why i decided to switch to Ubuntu 9.04NR is network drive sharing, which is not present in the Acer Linpus lite due to thunar's limited functions in this version.

    - just my opinion.. how about yours?

I chose ext2 for my SSD drive because I don't want the extra writes of journaling.
I don't know how well ext4 does on flash drives.

You can install with ext4 and to disable journalling edit fstab and change ext4 to ext2.

I wanted to know how too, so I did a google search. If it works great, if not... well.....
