Bought a VGA cable today to hook up the AAO to my Panasonic 37LZD81 TV so I could watch some of the Divx files on the netbook from time to time.

When I go to display settings I can see that the options are enabled when I have the VGA cable plugged in, but it only offers one display resolution. Do I need to edit some .conf files etc?

How do I add others, and is the graphics card capable of outputting a different resolution to the built in LCD compared to the external TV?

TV is a full HD model, so in theory can handle 1920 x 1080, but the manual for the TV suggests that the PC input will only handle up to 1280 x 1024 at 60 Hz

    Thanks!

    Matt
