I want to use an external tv that only supports 1024x768.
It says "invalid format" when I connect the tv with a vga cable.
I think the Intel945GME supports different resolutions for the
internal and external displays. How can I adjust my
    external resolution?
I am using the Linpus Lite v.1.0.11.E system that came with the computer.

I can confirm for you that the hardware is capable. I use Ubuntu with 1024x600 internal and an adjacent 1024x768 external. Regrets, can't help you with Linpus anymore though.

I would try to get him to switch to the Ubuntu Netbook remix except the card reader doesn't combine space with the SSD?
