external sound lost ... linux commands ???

    Hey,
    I lost sound on my aspire one : sound is 100% on screen but nothing ...
    Have to open a terminal session and put a linux command to modify MASTER and PCV levels ...
    What is the command ??

    alsamixer might well be what you need!
