I am looking at getting a linux based AAO.

When at home, I'm interested in having a larger full-sized keyboard I can dock it on, possibly even a full-sized monitor when I might need to do a ton of typing.

Is there any problem with just plugging in an external USB keyboard to the Linux AAO ??

    really appreciate any advice.

    many thanks - Duane

I have one and it works fine. The only bad thing is that it uses up two usb ports on the computer (makes up for it with three open ports on the keyboard for a net gain of 1). So with the USB kb and external monitor and hard drive, it's just like a desktop but MUCH quieter.

EDIT: I have to add, the only thing to look out for is that the USB keyboard may not work during boot, for example choosing a listing in GRUB.

2nd EDIT: Another thing I should have mentioned is that I'm using Fedora, not Linpus or Windows, on my One. I'm guessing the USB keyboard would still work with them, but I can't promise.
