After doing the weekly Fedora 11 update, my system now boots up (after a LONG period of disk (SSD) access) to the XFCE desktop with at least two instances, usually more, of an error window “Unable to contact the Xfce Trash service. Make sure you have a file manager installed that supports the Xfce Trash service, such as Thunar”. Shortly thereafter my system locks up.
For some reason it seems to be worse if I plug in my external USB mouse but I'm not sure.
I restored to a pre-update backup of F11 and things run just fine.
Has anyone else encountered this and/or have any suggestions on what is going wrong and how to fix it?
    Steve

I also had the trash-error but could not resolve it. can't remember if it disappeared after several system updates though.

recently switched to F12 XFCE and never got the message...
