Hi - it may sound silly, but have you tried scrolling right to the bottom of the page?

For some reason Facebook doesn't fit on my Acer One's screen - so there's a big blank space where all my info should be - instead it has now been squeezed right at the bottom of the page.

Does anybody know how I could adjust this?

    Ah, thanks hombre!

I don't suppose anyone has a solution to my other Facebook problem? When I type a message (via a personal message or on someone's Wall), the text appears very slowly on the screen. I have to type a sentence and then wait for the text to catch up with me. I don't have this problem with any other site.

Any ideas as to what the problem could be?

    Thanks in advance.

You might need to have Flash, Shockwave and or Java updated. A good place to find all of these is www.filehippo.com.

I'm running Linpus Linux Lite - will those all be compatible with my system?

@ Jacklove - I tried the 'F11' trick - obviously it enlarges my screen space (which is good to know!), but I'm afraid it doesn't seem to 'sort out' my Facebook-viewing problems.

    Hey all,
I had the same problem and just ignored it.
Tonight however I found out how to install the newest Firefox and later noticed that it solved my facebook problem. No more blank space!
    Instructions are here:

I did exactly the same thing. Downloaded Firefox 3 from the instructions on the Macles blog, and my Facebook is fine now. :p

Firefox 3 is the fix for this.

Facebook did some changes a short while ago and FF2 doesn't like it anymore.

I've been running FF3 on mine in XP, and actually I ran into it on my old machine (my toughbook) a while back...

been reading your comments: just upgrade to the latest mozilla Firefox ( or 3.03).. and "bingo" face book now displays fine, without that big space......-

Cool answered the first question I had :) never noticed it myself (I'd rather eat my own feet than join facebook) but the brother-in-law wants facebook and it's his machine I'm setting up. :)

Sadly, Amigadude, Facebook now owns my soul.... my daughters are both on it, a bunch of my fencing kids are on it... now even my wife and sister are on it... so... there I am... it lets me keep up with all the folks a thousand miles away at home...
