hey guys, i had to install Windows 7 on my Acer machine. i installed it onto a separate partition. i checked and the PQService partition is still there and it looks ok, it's about 10GB. i checked it using a partition manager. now, when i reboot the machine and press ALT F10 nothing happens. it just continues to boot into Windows 7. does anyone know how i can begin the recovery program?

    thanks

Check your BIOS settings, make sure D2D recovery is enabled

i already reset the BIOS to the default, but it still won't respond when i press ALT + F10. can i do something within my partition manager to make the PQService partition bootable? what would happen if i made the PQService partition 'marked as active' from within the partition manager? would it boot then?

    thanks
