I have looked for an answer for an hour so forgive me if I have missed the answer or don't know what I am talking about!

I simply would like to know how to empty temp files or clean up clutter from the drive.

I have discovered the software updater is a joke but the many failed downloads seem to have taken 2gb of valuable memory, if this is possible?

    I have the 8gb with a 16gb card installed

I have activated the advanced menu but cant find where the files are to remove them.

    ?

System temp files are written to /tmp which is mounted on a ramdisk. Turn off the computer and all those temp files are gone. They've not been written to the disk.

If you're losing diskspace, maybe check your Trash and empty it.

    Cheers.
