I've recently just restored my AAO1 and remembered why I had these problems :p
I've tried installing ntfs-3g, it says it's already installed?
I've also live updated it and it still fails to mount..

    Any help would be appreicated

(I did fix all these problems but I've spent the whole morning looking for my old posts, but alas I can't find them :( )

    Hi Puggytree,

Is this is what you are looking for.

    1.Open a terminal and launch the xfce4-autostart-editor
2.Add this command sudo thunar --daemon
    3.Reboot and test your USB.

There is a gap between thunar and the first -
