    Hi,

I've implemented the "hack" to get the fan noise down from the ubuntu install guide for aspire one. However, somehow it refuses to work.
I did all the right steps (three times!) in the right order and downloaded the latest versions of the scripts. Somehow if just keeps on fanning :)

any tips? fwiw, I'm running the AAO 150w with the 6cell batt.. maybe that is making the script defunct??

    thanks!

    Code:
    ps -eal | grep acer

indeed acerfand didn't seem to run, even after +x-ing it and doing sudo acerfand..
