Fan noise

    My aspire one A0751h is making alot of noise, its like a humming noise. Plus the fan never stop. Its really making me crazy, i have to put music when i use it or i get mad. Is this common with all unit or do i have a faulty one?

    The noise is not that loud but its a very high pitch and annoying, i can hear it as soon as i go in the same room.

    Aa1FanControl works. Set it to not start until 60 celsius, and it should be silent unless doing something very cpu-intensive.

    No, it should not be that noisy.

    Noise is an extremely subjective matter. One man's "dead silent" is another mans "driving me mad"... I'm unfortunately in the latter category. And fan control programs were developed for our benefit. :)

    I can't even notice my laptops fan. Dead silent all the time...

    Mine also makes a noticeable noise, irritating in quite environment. Have made a youtube video of it, is it the same noise you are experiencing?

    YES! thats the exact same noise mine makes. Before sending it to repairs i tried aa1fancontrol. Its really great but im not sure how well it will work in the summer.

    Did you send yours for repair, did acer repaired it?

    Can someone tell us if its normal or need repair?
