I recently bought a 10inch 532h and the fan seems to be almost constantly on. I tried downloading the AAO fancontrol software that was suggested for older Aspire Ones but the temperature it registered seemed to vary wildly from 1degree C to 80degree C. Is it supposed to work on this machine? And if not is there anything else I can do?

    Thanks.

Software is operating system dependent. Please modify your profile signature field to assist other members in answering questions. There are several fan control methods described on the site. Searches for acerfan and autofan will return them.

By design when ever the 532h is plugged in the fan will always run. You need to go into the advanced power options and go to Processor Power Management. You will see System cooling policy. You can select between Active and Passive for both Plugged In and On Battery.
