So I managed (eventually) to put acerfand on my AA1, did all the steps including adding /usr/local/bin/acerfand to rc.local. Problem is that when I turn my aspire on, the fan still starts up, and I've got to go into terminal and type sudo acerfand in there to get the fan to stop. I've looked on here, and on some other sites but haven't found a solution to my problem.. maybe I've missed something, but I don't know what :( Any help you can give me is more than appreciated :)
