Faster Boot Time

    If you want to make your boot times faster, I know everyone has seen all the tutorials on how to make that happen. I have one more trick that will shave 3 or 4 more seconds off your boot time. I created and tested this on my own PC. It is a custom authui.dll file that eliminates the startup animation that occurs right after the boot screen. Just download the file, then Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\authui.dll. Take ownership of the file and rename it to authui.bak. Then drop the file you downloaded into the system32 folder and reboot.

    Just to clarify, there will be NO startup animation with this. It is only meant for those interested in making their boot time as fast as possible.

    BTW its for Vista SP1 32 bit
