    Hi to all!

I have a question, for better performance is better for a SSD of 8 GB (Acer 110L) the FAT32 or NTFS file system?

I have read on a web site that FAT 32 and cluster size of 32K is the best solution, most better of 4K FAT32.

    It's true?

    Thanks very much at all

You did not mention which OS you were thinking of. NTFS does not generally work with Linux, which is what is usually installed on SSDs. Apparently, there are problems with access speed for XP installations on SSD, but search the forums for ideas to resolve this.

NTFS is a journalled filesystem. Amongst other things that means it will make small writes to the disk far more often than an non-journalled filesystem like FAT would.

Having a lot of small writes on a SSD is bad - it will drastically lower the lifespan of the drive and speed will be an issue.
    So indeed use FAT.
