Anyone tried using fbwf on xp and boot from read only media? Receive a BSOD when tried this. Since fbwf redirect to ram write so why BSOD? What is causing the boot fail? Boot on usual hardrive has no problem.

I believe that fbwf doesn't apply during the booting stage (in the sense that you're thinking).

does not seems so that fbwf does not apply in booting as the document of fbwf point out that all write direct to ram... and when fbwf is boot without read only, there is no file write so maybe is registry conflict?
