Firefox 3.0 sted of 2.000 X - the 10th

    Hi friedns,
    I simply can#t solve that problem:

    I have downloaded rpm-version of firefox 3.01. installed through doubleclick in file-manager, but can't find it anywhere. the frigging desktop is killing me. Is firefox hidings somewhere underneath??

    do I first have to uninstall version 2.000x ?

    How can I get Linous to behave like a normal system that is allowing adult people to deal with it.

    I have my doubts whether changing to a different version of Linux would really help. Any advisce?

    2) Is there a Linux version of opera?

    Do ALT+F2 and then run "firefox-3.0" without the quotes. Does that launch it?

    Hi, I shall try tonight, when I'm home, thks. I tried diefferent variations of that with Alt + F2, however it didn't work
