Firefox 3.5.1 problem

    My son installed Firefox 3.5 on my aspireone as per details elsewhere on forum and it worked perfectly until I clicked on previously greyed out `check for updates` to see what happened. Now I can get email access but clicking on Firefox icon does nothing. Any suggestions for fix much appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.
