firefox 3 flash issue

Hi
Big problem...managed to get firefox 3 working but alas....no flash! Tried installing the manual way from adopes homepage but came back as " already installed"......
what to do?
Lots of webpages about this issue, but none on fedora 8.... or what?

The next step links all plug-ins (not to be confused with extensions) to it. They can be disabled individually from within Firefox 3 now in case you don't want to use them all.

sudo ln -s /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/* /opt/firefox/plugins

Problem solved !
I installed "opera" (weird browser..) :shock: and somehow that made firefox "see" the installed flash...
Hey..sometime you just get lucky!
