My first post on this forum, great work you guys have done! I have activated advanced desktop, installed VLC, skype etc

With my 8GB Linux version, just wondering if it'll ever be possible to upgrade the built-in firefox to latest version of 3.01

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thank-you, it's great!
Firefox3 seems faster and deals better with fullscreen (F11) hidding the top address bar & tabs while browsing a page.

Other tips for firefox in > Edit > Preferences :
    > Advanced > General > Use smooth scrolling [well, not much difference anyway]
    > Content > Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum font size = 13 [In order to avoid those pages with text so small it's unreadable!]

And Alt+mouse on the Preferences window to move it around (too big to see it entirely, nice tip from another post).

i've been using firefox 3 with my other laptop (ubuntu), and have been experiencing problems with flash banners covering navigation menus (an adobe problem accroding to forum). But haven't had this problem with my aspire one. If i switch to firefox 3 will this problem appear again?

This way it is pretty simple just follow the instruction (there is message "connection denied" after some actions in terminal but just ignore them and keep going) otherwise its very simple.
