    I updated to firefox 3, I'm not sure if that is a factor in this issue, but when I use what would normally be the 'back' button on my logitech mx laser mouse, instead of going back, it goes to whatever i've just copied.com, so if i copy the word 'beast' and press back, all of a sudden it's trying to connect to beast.com, wtf! I assume there's a file I can edit somewhere, anyone know where it is? that'd be great!!

    Many thanks,

    i would start with checking out FF3... preferences and extension-setttings

    your rather vague but this "problem' only seems to appear in FF3 (by your "description")

    This won't be very useful, but I've definitely seen something about the behaviour of some buttons being altered between 2 and 3 on the mozzila support site. It was something you could alter back by messing with about:config in firefox. I'd support woodland's suggest that it's a FF issue, and suggest you look in that direction. Sorry for the vagueness!

    In Firefox 3 about:config change the following keys:

    mousewheel.horizscroll.withnokey.action = 2
    mousewheel.horizscroll.withnokey.numlines = -1
    mousewheel.horizscroll.withnokey.sysnumlines = false

    for the full article: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Get ... ns_Working

    No guarantees, i.e. not tested by me, i only have 3 buttons and a scroll wheel.. :)
