Hi all, a simple little question about a trivial annoyance.

I have the AA1 running the standard Linpus Linux with Firefox v2. On every other browser I've used on any other computer, if you click your mouse in the address bar, the bar either clears, or the entire contents are selected and easy to delete with a single tap of the Delete button. But... on my AA1, no such thing occurs. The insertion point stays wherever I clicked, along with the previous contents. To enter a new URL, I need to Backspace or Delete the current URL character by character, and then type in my new URL.

Is there any way to do this quicker, like on all the other machines I've used? I realize it's a trivial little issue, but I figure I must be missing an easy solution somehow. Thanks!.......Jake

If i understood you correctly, the solution is quite easy.
Enter about:config in address bar and press enter. Find "browser.urlbar.clickSelectsAll" in the list, and make it "True".
Is that what you're looking for?

Or simply double click (rather than single)
I prefer it this way, but to each his own. :)

Hmmm.... that worked too. I could have sworn I tried that in the first place, but I must not have, because it worked now. Thanks!.....Jake
