Newbie here. On my Windows versions of Firefox, the BACKSPACE key functions as if you click your BACK button on the toolbar. However, the key appears to have no function on my Firefox ver2 ONE. Is there some option to enable it somewhere? Interestingly, there is a Firefox extension to disable the key (although I have not installed that extension).

    Any ideas???

The very useful mouserunner Firefox shortcuts guide has a note at the bottom of the page indicating that a change can be made via the about:config to make the backspace key in Linux (or on the Mac) do what it does in Windows.
