    Hello again,
As we all know, the Aspire One's screen is a little small, and when you install Mozilla Firefox you have

    [*] Bookmarks Toolbar
    [*] Tools bar
    [*] Status bar
    [*] Big (Default) Icons

Lets make it all smaller so more information fits in the screen! ;)

Step 1 Click View » Toolbars » Bookmarks Toolbar
Step 2 Click Tools » Add-ons » Get Add-ons. Type in "hide menu" in the search field. Install "Hide Menubar" and restart the browser.
Step 3 Click View » Status Bar
Step 4 Click Tools » Add-ons » Get Add-ons. Click "Browse All Add-ons" Searh for "Classic Compact" theme and install it. After that's done, restart the browser.

Press "Alt" button to hide/show the Tools Bar
And now let's see what it should like:

    Before:

    After:

And you now, can compare the difference.
    I hope that helps. ;)

Or you can click F11 and kaboom! Full screen mode hehehe. The tabs will auto hide from the top. ;)

    I use;

Little Fox theme - gets rid of any wasted pixels in toolbars
Personal Menu - shove all the menu bar into a single button, put that on Bookmarks Toolbar, then disable menu toolbar in View
Auto Hide extension (toolbars) - self explanatory

These make usage of F11 (fullscreen) actually workable and not a temporary fix.

I use this for my Firefox:

    - Tiny menu - Put the menu bar in a single button. Now on top left
    - Fission - replace the status bar and is now in the adress bar (like in Safari browser)
    - Bookmarks - Firefox option, now in single button
    - small icons - Firefox option
    - Auto-hide taskbar - standard windows option

I can alsways use F11 if I need more screen estate, but after these small mods I find myself using F11 less. I also use Addblock plus. I use this also on my desktop, but on the small screen of the AA1 you can definitely see more of a web page without adds.

Thanks for all the tips everyone. I used a little here and there to make something to my liking.

I installed the tiny menu and fission extension, but cannot seem to get the navigation buttons and address bar in the same line as the menu button as KDL's screen shot shows. Any ideas?

Hadn't tried F11 in FF before, and am happy to see that the tabs all show up when the cursor pushes the top of the screen. Good tip.

I use personal menu. It allows for hiding the menubar. Also you can add history and bookmarks buttons to the toolbar and they become drop down lists. Makes for a very clean look. Alt brings down the menu bar if I find I really need it, which is hardly never.

Also am using the "just black" firefox theme and windows 7

From the related thread, I recommend Autohide and Compact Menu.
