Firefox update

    Hi all
    So made the mistake of hitting the upgrade button when it popped up!! Now the firefox browser wont load from the home page when hit the icon. What else do i have to do? Any help would be appreciated, thanks

    The browser icon on the home page does not function, anyone?? lol
    or can someone tell me how to system restore if all else fails?

    I've just used the instructions on http://macles.blogspot.com/2008/07/inst ... e-one.html to update (I inserted the latest version of Firefox into the instructions) & it's working fine.

    However, I'd had a few problems the first time I tried (it seemed to do everything, but didn't update), so I eventually re-installed the OS from the CD ... you have still got it, haven't you? And an external CD drive? Or the wherewithall to create a usb stick from it?
