    Hi,

I think I have solved the problem of the AO751h. I changed the following seetings on my graphics card and it seems not to freeze anymore. I have used it for 4 days now, and everything seems fine. i remeber a post earlier on, and they did the same thing under Win 7, and it fixed their issue as well. It may be related to some power saving function on the graphics card.

    The changes I made were:

Under Options in Graphics - Enable Performance Mode is ticked
Under Power Settings - tick the Intel Display power Saving Technology, and drag the pointer to maximum quality

Since then, may netbook hasn't frozen once, when it used to freeze every couple of hours. I tried all the other fixes in this forum and nothing else seemed to work. Try it out and see if it fixes your issues. I have also used the latest GMA drivers from the Intel website, and updated the BIOS to 3211. These didn't fix the issue until I made the graphics card changes.

sorry to disappoint, but mine has been in this config for weeks and I still get infrequent freezing. nowhere near as bad as it was, but this does not fix the problem entirely (well at least not for me)
