I haven't flown with a laptop in years and was wondering what to expect. Should I buy a "checkpoint friendly laptop bag"?
I just want to avoid having to open it up and turn it on for TSA.
I thought I would just put it in with my carry on bag ...but that may not work because of zippers and compartments in the bag.
Any input on this would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank You,

I fly all the time with my One. I bought a Case Logic portable dvd neoprene sleeve at Walmart, and I just take the One out of my backpack in its sleeve and lay it in a tray, still in its sleeve. They probably think it IS a dvd player.

Ditto, I fly every week with my AAO and just stick it into the gray bin with the sleeve still on. The APC battery looks much more sinister, but it stays in my shoulder bag.

The only item that ever gets any attention is my corkscrew...after having to haul it out of my carry-on a few times I now send it through opened with my toiletries.

Maybe our new president will see what a joke TSA is and dismantle the entire agency...
