Free Toshiba ZIF cables

    Does anybody want free Toshiba ZIF cables? I have about 14 of them lying around after ordering two packs of 10 via eBay.

    Send me a PM with your address and I will mail you one free of charge, anywhere in the world.

    There is no catch. Just want to help out my fellow modders.

    Cable info:

    Standard Toshiba straight ZIF, same manufacturer and product ID as the Acer-supplied cable printed on it.

    Length: About 5cm, slightly shorter than the factory cable and of course the correct thickness at the HD end - so no sandpapering necessary.

    Thanks to everybody who replied - your cables have been sent today! Tell us how and if they worked when you receive them.

    Some of you requested two cables. Due to demand, only early requesters who received a PM confirmation from me will get two. The rest will get one.

    Also: These cables are usually only available in lots of 10 from eBay. Since they are a little hard to come by and shipping from HK is slow, I call upon other members of this forum to join in the spirit and spread the good karma by giving your spares away without any charge. Postage is cheap.

    Help your friends out! :)

    I agree, its free people, share it with others, ask for one not two. Let other people get them also. (unless a mod needs two, I don't know personally)
