free webcam software for Vista

    Hy Folks,
    I'm lookin for a simple free webcam software for vista..only to take pictures and videos with the webcam..I dont need any server upload stuff...It's just for my daughter as she likes playing around with the cam.

    I installed ecap xp (from asus) and it seems to work well except for the bit where it opens a few windows explorer windows at once after taking a pic/video. Webcam drivers came with vista ultimate.
