Freezes on title page

    Help! A Linux newbie....I have an AA1 with Linpus. when I turn it on, it gets as far as the Acer title page, then freezes and I have to turn it off manually. I love it and long to have it working again, so what should I do? I have the recovery disc and a 4g. memory stick. Is this any help?

    Try Alt-F4 send the Aspire One to sleep then a single press on the power button restores the screen and you are unfrozen.
