function keys definition

    Could somebody advice please how to define function keys (F1-F12)? Some of them do not appear to operate as user guide describes. Thank you in advance

    F1 thru F8 are explained on the help if you click the launch manager icon on the systray on XP.

    Thank you for your advice, I was not aware of the fact that some of the Fn keys work only when the launch manager is active.
