Gaming laptop for virtual reality?

Really looking to buy an Oculus Rift or HTC Vive virtual reality headset in the coming months and wanted user feedback among gamers as too what the best brand too buy is? I know Alienware is a huge gaming company but I believe they were previously, or maybe still owned by Dell and I have never been a fan of their computers or customer service. Who here owns a gaming laptop that can shed some light on this, and what are your current specs? I have a great desktop PC but I want too be able to take it on the road with me and obviously that's just not practical.
