I don't know how many new Aspire uowners have asked this question: How can one get rid of the Linpus-Desktop.

Is there an easy way? I personally would prefer a windows desktop-style with a free desktop and ikons for those programmes that I really want, and new ones that I installed.

I find it simply absurd having to use commands like Alt + F2 to call up hidden programmes

    thanks and cheers

    Actually this one:
    viewtopic.php?f=39&t=1612

    Is easier.

Untested with todays live update though. It is possible that that will break it.
