Getting SD Card slots working on A110

    Using this iDeneb installation of OSX, is this possible? seen solutions for Dell Mini's and the like but nothing for the AAO, total n00b when it comes to Kext's and the like so all help appreciated. Ta.

    you can try the IOSDHCIBlockDevice.kext from the Dell 9's. i think both have the same/similar hardware. i'm using that kext that i found at the insanelymac forum.

    I'm using the same kext ( IOSDHCIBlockDevice.kext ) on my AOA 150, running 10.6. But, you must insert the card into the reader BEFORE booting up in order for it to recognized... ;)

    Updated my iDeneb 10.5 to 10.6.2 using post "Snow Leopard on AOA110 (ZG5) : piece of cake and easy as pie " and now my expansion slot reader always works as it should. The one by the power button still has to have the card in on boot but then it can be removed and re-installed just fine.
