what happens if i install the gnome desktop environment from pirut? is it recommended? i saw some cool looking gnome themes out on the net, what do u guys recommend? bdw i already ran the script which changes the xfce desktop to one with an actual background, the whole script which i automated. will it have an effect if i install gnome desktop environment?
