I got an xp hard drive version of the one, and i want to find a good Linux distro that i can run off of a usb stick when I'm in a situation that might damage the hardrive, what ones out now support all the fetures, and will save to the usb stick what i do?

If I could i would have it boot up with usb, then save info onto a sd card so i could unplug the usb and have it be less cluttered

I don't know how well it supports the AA1 (been meaning to try, but haven't gotten around to it) but SLAX is brilliant on USB, and you can definitely have persistent changes very easily. http://www.slax.org/
