got my globallaptopbatteries 6 cell

    Good service, prompt shipping. Arrived via international mail today.

    Fits perfectly. Has it's own feet and raises the One up maybe 1/8 of an inch. Rubber bumper along the upper surface behind the raised screen.

    On the first charge the battery meter reads 4:15. I followed the advice on the site and pulled the battery when it showed full charge and then reinserted it to see if it would take any more...but it did not.

    So far so good. :D

    I will be traveling in the week after next and will give it a real test.

    nothing much to show. Looks, as near as I can tell, identical to the 6 cell Acer, or any of the others floating around in the cyber-market. If folks are really interested, I will take a few today and post them???

    Isn't the six cell meant to last up to 6 hours since the 3 cell lasts about 3.5 hours?

    I wouldn't mind seeing some pictures though I'm in a quandary in whether to buy one or not at the moment.

    No one gets 3 hours out of a 3 cell. I will be happy with 4 real hours from 6.

    3 hours out of 3 cell is possible under minimal usage.

    i can get 7-8 hrs out of a 9 cell.

    My 6 cell from Global arrived about two weeks ago and so far I have been very pleased.

    With no power saving on at all for the first discharge it lasted for over four hours with my grandson playing online games. After I set some power savings I average about 5 1/2 hours. So far so good at half the cost.

    Why there are no Real 5200mAH 6 Cell Batt for Sell
    instead of the original One.
    4400mAH as a 6 Cell is not attractive at all...

    Original 5200mAH 6 Cell Can run for ~6hrs with WiFi on With Low Brightless Setting.

    The 3 cell will crank out 3 hours if you're lucky on the SSD version, which uses less power. The Cameroon Sino 660mAh 9 cell is the one I have on my SSD one. I can get 8-9 hours on med brightness on TinyXP with wi-fi running and firefox, msn and skype runningg.
