I have had my AAO since Nov. 08 and have been running Ubuntu on it since the day I got it. The only problem that I have had with it is the size of some program windows. The two programs that best example what I am trying to say are GPSDrive and PokerTH. These two programs will not run in the 1024x600 resolution set for the AAO, they seem to want to only run at 1024x768.
Has anyone found a way to get programs to run in the 1024x600 size? Or get them to run in a minimized window. I cannot seem to find anything in this forum or the Ubuntu forums. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,

    John

    Hi slapshot!
    Code:

    I had the same problem.

    Try:
    Code:
    gpsdrive -x -r 550 -s 250
Play with the numbers of it don't fit right, for example: 600 300
I cann't try it myself, cause I haven't installed it on my new distro yet.

There should be also an option to set the vehicle to car:
    Code:
    gpsdrive --help
    EDIT:
This setting fits nicely: (with frame and without maximus)
    Code:
     gpsdrive --geometry 900x400
Older versions of gpsdrive needs other settings.
    Have a look at:
