    Dear All,
Please help me to understand why Grub's boot menu can ignore Aspire One arrow keys.

It always highlights first option "Linpus Linux RCD", ignores "down arrow" key and accepts "up arrow" key as a signal that selection was done - continues loading.

I suspect non-standard AAO arrow keys mapping... Should I try lilo or smth else?

    Here is my /boot/grub/grub.conf

I would appreciate any advices, guesses, examples working on Acer.

    Thanks.

from my limited knowledge i believe this is due to the limitation of the ACER version of Grub.
You need to press tab (a long press) and it activates the arrow keys.

You could install the full version of grub which fixes this - i think it's in the 'Idiots Guide' thread
