Has anyone partitioned a CF card with the GUID option using Apple's Disk Utility? I'm trying to do so right now, and in 10+ minutes the progress meter hasn't moved past 1/8". I tried the regular mac and MBR partition tables, and they both finished in less than a minute.

In case it matters, it's a SanDisk 16G Extreme III CF card, and I'm using a Powerbook G4 running 10.4.11.
