Hard Drive Crash? -Help

    Tell me if this sound like my hard drive or my motherboard?

    Last night I noticed that my laptop's (Aspire One) screen /mouse was frozen. I rebooted and nothing. Just a black screen. No cmos/bios nothing. Thinking that maybe the display was dead I allowed it time to completely boot up, tried the caps lock but didnt light up on the caps lock indicator.

    Whats the probably issue here? I have programs on my HD that i need to get off. HELP! :(

    Sounds like the typical dead-BIOS issue. Essentially the BIOS needs a reflash.

    This has been covered several times before, please read the forum rules and use the search function.
