Hard Drive (SSD) wont reconize

    I did the RAM update on my Aspire one, I but all the cables back and put it back together and it wont boot and says media check fail check cable or something like that.

    I've taken this thing apart like 5 times and messed with all the cables. I don't know which one is the hard drive cable, is it the one that says "MP"? I figured it stood for mother board. Either way I have been messing with that cable and clipped it in place and no dice.

    Can anyone help me out?

    I've just done the same thing
    I could get into my BIOS and see the RAM had been accepted, but when I try booting I get nothing.
    I have power but no screen or POST anymore (plus I cant turn off by holding the power button down for 5).
    I guess I will pull it apart for the 4th time and really focus on the ribbon cable for the MB hard drive. I hope the individual copper strands dont really need to line up
