Okay, I've been working my way through my mods, and unfortunately I can't turn Lappy on because I screwed up the ZIF cable. BUT, a new one is on the way. I am very curious what mods people have done to their AAOs. So I'l start - here's Lappy below. You can see the Solderless Touchscreen kit. I've tucked the USB controller where the 3G controller could go (which I don't want). I've installed a 300xCF on a ZIF to CF adapter. I've mounted my Bluetooth just below the CF. Everything is mouned with either thick double sided tape or small strip of Duct Tape (I'm Canadian, I had to). Lastly, I just loosely taped the extra USB port where I will be able to access it later. I thought it would be a lot easier to add something else later rather than pull it all apart again. Would love to see others' contraptions. Let me know what you think. This is totally insane and addictively fun. Even my students are curious to see what I've come up with.
