Has anyone got Wammu working

    Has anyone got Wammu working. I've installed it but I can't get it to connect to my phone (Sony Eric z710i). The automatic find for the phone fails with a permissions error for accessing the device, and my clumsy manual searches also fail. Has anyone managed to get it working ?

    I changed the permissions group on /dev/ttyACM0 and /dev/ttyACM1, to 'user' and I can now connect.

    Changing the permissions group isn't a permanent fix. Having rebooted, the group has gone back to uucp.

    Anyone know how to grant access properly ? Does Linpus have a resource manager somewhere ?
