HD noise?

    Well, I'm on my fourth AAO now. First had Bios fail, second and third had noise from the HD. Returned all three of those. Went and got my fourth earlier today from a different store hoping I wouldn't have any problems. Well, this one wasn't on for 30 minutes before the HD started ticking. Wasn't dropped at all, didn't get hot. This is the third I've had that's doing this. Has anyone elses been like this. I seriously doubt it's coincidence that I've gotten 4 bad AAO's from 2 different stores. I just want to see if anyone else's does this. Also, is there a way to keep the HD from parking as much in Linpus Lite?

    yeah, search around the forum, I think they have the fix for HD ticking.

    I know, but I can't seem to find it. Plus, I was wondering if anyone else's AAO had this problem too.

    yeah my 120GB aspire one came with a 160GB one. lucky me. but i also have two issues with my A1. the fan noise..its gettin louder and louder. but i took care of that thanks to the fan control app. HD ticking is the other issue. i dont notice it much but i know it ticks. never dropped my A1.
