HDD failure?

    Hi... So my Netbook everytime it boots goes to the login... the password goes in and the it stays there for hours on in :( ... Idk if it is a HDD failure or what? any help would be nice

    The login page you are talking about is it a boot password or a system password like to login to Windows or Linux? In either event I don't believe it is an indication of Hard Drive failure.
