I have the linpus version of acerone and tried installing windows xp on it. everything seems to be working fine using xp home edition until the serial number didnt work. so i tried another xp pro version but the problem now is everytime I install my USB boot xp pro it would not go to the install/format/partition part it goes straight to the blue windows install.

How can I delete the old XP home i formatted and create new install?

    Please help Im stuck! :?

I think readers probably cannot understand exactly what you are asking. If you set the bios correctly to boot up from your USB CD-ROM drive, then the computer will boot to that, and will start the Windows install from the beginning. You can then specify to reformat the SSD drive on the Linpus machine. I suggest you check the setting in the Bios. To do this, you should press F2 when the machine first comes on.

I hope this helps. If not, then you will need to give a fuller and clearer explanation of exactly what is happening when you try to reinstall windows.

i guess what's the easiest solution here is to buy an external cd/DVD-RW and use an XP Pro/Home installer. Just dont forget to prioritize USB-CDROM in bios boot selection.
